Spring Digital Fellow

Want to dip your toe into Democratic politics? Interested in learning more about digital strategy, fundraising, and ads? Obsessively refresh X for breaking news?

Van Ness Creative Strategies is looking for passionate Democrats who are college seniors or recent grads to join our team as a Digital Fellow.

If you’re interested in pursuing a career in politics and digital strategy, this position is for you!

This role will include:

→ Copywriting for fundraising emails, SMS texts, and digital ads for Democratic candidates and causes

→ Creating digital assets (graphics and gifs) around candidates and movements

→ Fundraising for major PAC clients and candidates

→ HTML coding for email

→ Assisting in strategic content strategy

You should apply if you:

→ Have an interest in digital fundraising, digital ads, and creative strategy

→ Have a thorough understanding of the national political landscape

→ Check the news and Twitter constantly for the latest updates

→ Are passionate about progressive organizations and causes

This fellowship requires at least 24 hours of availability each week, up to 40 hours. This fellowship pays $18 an hour. Our offices are currently hybrid, and we are prioritizing applicants who can work out of our Brooklyn offices two days a week.

The spring fellowship will last until May 31, 2025, with the possibility of extension or promotion to full-time.
