    STEM Canada is a registered not-for-profit global program that specializes in an advanced, bar-none STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). The STEM program is open to all students from preschool to high school with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application, designed to teach students in the STEM fields, yielding globally competitive results.

    Location: Remote

    Time commitment: 6 hours/week

    Description: We are seeking a dedicated and organized Feedback and Evaluation Coordinator Volunteer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the collection, analysis, and implementation of feedback to enhance STEM Canada’s programs and initiatives. This position requires strong organizational skills, an analytical mindset, and a commitment to using feedback to drive program improvements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement comprehensive evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness of STEM Canada’s programs and initiatives. Ensure that evaluation methods align with organizational goals and objectives.

    • Oversee the process of collecting feedback from students, educators, and other stakeholders. Utilize various methods such as surveys, interviews, and focus groups to gather relevant input.

    • Analyze feedback data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Use statistical methods and qualitative analysis techniques to generate actionable insights.

    • Develop detailed reports and presentations based on feedback and evaluation findings. Communicate key insights, recommendations, and implications for program development to stakeholders.

    • Work with program coordinators and other departments to implement improvements based on feedback and evaluation results. Monitor the impact of changes and adjust strategies as needed.

    • Collaborate with program managers, educators, and other staff to ensure that feedback is integrated into program planning and decision-making processes. Facilitate discussions on feedback findings and proposed changes.

    • Keep accurate and organized records of feedback, evaluation activities, and improvement initiatives. Ensure that all documentation is accessible and up-to-date.

    • Stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in feedback collection and program evaluation. Recommend and implement new tools and techniques to enhance evaluation processes.

    Requirements:

    • Demonstrated experience in managing feedback and evaluation processes, with a strong understanding of evaluation methodologies and best practices.

    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret feedback data and provide meaningful insights and recommendations.

    • Proficiency in evaluation tools and software (e.g., survey platforms, data analysis tools). Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau) is a plus.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to present feedback findings clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.

    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple feedback and evaluation projects and meet deadlines.

    • Passion for STEM education and a commitment to supporting STEM Canada’s mission through effective feedback management and program evaluation.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required. Experience with data analysis and visualization tools is preferred.

    • Ability to engage with a diverse global audience and work within a multicultural environment.
