The #ResistTrump campaign is implementing lawful, nonviolent civil resistance to Donald Trump and his enablers.
Volunteering to be an Activist with ResistTrump will empower you to devise and execute techniques that are both familiar and innovative as a nonviolent civil resistor, in the tradition of Mohandas Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Jr., and the Serbian pro-democracy activists of the 1990s.
The Activist role is the first step on the journey to becoming a ResistTrump Organizer, which we envision will be the kind of community advocate that will make history by powering the ResistTrump campaign to reach its vision of "a future without Trump and his enablers in power." We respect any volunteer who wishes to remain in the Volunteer Activist role.
Rather than apply for the role, please attend our weekly Zoom orientation call that occurs each Sunday night (6:30p CT). After you attend, if it sounds like our work is worth your time and energy, just let us know and we'll give you the details on how to engage further.
The time commitment expectations for this role are 5+ hours/week, which includes attendance at a weekly virtual team meeting on Zoom.
If you would like to simply learn about nonviolent civil resistance, feel free to attend our weekly Zoom #ResistanceSchool session each Sunday at 5p CT.
