Join Youth Mentoring Connection’s upcoming program with Options for Youth and help guide high school students as they navigate their unique paths. Our mentors change lives by offering support, encouragement, and a trusted connection—and we need you!
Program Details:
Alternating Tuesday evenings, 5:30-7:30 PM
8407 S. Vermont Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90044
Starting November 12, 2024, through May 2025
This is your chance to be the mentor they’ve been waiting for. When you volunteer, you’re not just changing a young person’s life—you’re creating positive change in your own.
VOLUNTEER Mentor Opportunity
Prospective Mentors complete our screening process, including an application and interview. Following training, each volunteer Mentor is matched with a High School student, in a safe community setting.
ABOUT Youth Mentoring Connection
YMC is a mentoring-driven community developed to awaken young adults from at-risk regions to their power, unique gifts, and purpose by matching them with caring adult mentors and placing that pair within a structured group dynamic that builds the emotional resiliency skills and confidence in adolescents to self-actualize into adulthood.

We believe that when a caring adult mentor shows up for a young person in a consistent way, they change two lives. Our Gift Centered Mentoring model allows for the healing to begin, as Mentors walk in the path together with their Mentee. We only ask Mentors for four hours a month - you show up, be real, and YMC takes care of the rest.
Prospective Mentors complete our screening process, including an application and interview, then are invited to Training, and paired with a Mentee in our program launching during the same start date.
