Director of Development (Remote)

Position Overview:

Creshendo is seeking a proactive, pro bono Director of Development to lead our fundraising efforts and secure financial resources to support our mission of empowering displaced populations. In this role, you will work closely with the founder, board members, and the fundraising team to develop and implement fundraising strategies, build donor relationships, and drive revenue growth for our programs and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive fundraising strategies.

- Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and stakeholders.

- Create and oversee fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives.

- Collaborate with the board and team to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals.

- Engage with donors through various communication channels to foster ongoing support.

- Maintain accurate records in donor databases and track progress towards fundraising goals.

- Explore new fundraising opportunities and innovative ideas to expand revenue streams.

Qualifications:

- Experience in fundraising, donor relations, or development.

- Proven success in securing funds for startups or nonprofits.

- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and lead fundraising initiatives.

- Passion for Creshendo’s mission and a commitment to making a difference.

- Commitment to 5-10 hours per week.
