Volunteer at PAIR and Make a Lasting Impact!

 Are you passionate about positively impacting your community and possibly changing the lives of the upcoming generation? If so, the Partnership for the Advancement and Immersion of Refugees (PAIR) has the perfect opportunity for you. This upcoming fall sees the start of our highly successful scholars program. This program matches qualified individuals with one 11th or 12 th grade refugee student for the one on one mentorship. The goal of this program is to provide these young brilliant minds with the added support required to achieve professional and personal success. 

Right now we are looking for compassionate dedicated persons who are willing to give up a minimum of six (6) hours per month for an entire academic year! We know this is a huge commitment but this is your chance to help transform the lives of many refugee students in the Houston area. Additionally, you can experience new cultures and have truly transformative experiences!  Once you have the following requirements do not hesitate to apply!

Qualifications:

• 21 years old or older.
• Have access to a reliable vehicle.
• Willing to submit to a background check.
• Willing and/or has experience with working with minors.
• Open to engaging with other cultures. 
• Willing to learn.

Training will be provided for all volunteers chosen after the interview and vetting process.
