About Us:

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our mission is to enhance their quality of life through compassionate and professional services. As a volunteer, you will gain valuable experience while making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

Volunteer Opportunity:

We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible volunteers to assist with daily support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your role will involve helping with personal care, meal assistance, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Time Commitment:

- Monday to Friday

- 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with personal care tasks such as hygiene, toileting, feeding, and dressing.

- Follow individualized care plans.

- Help with meal preparation and feeding if needed.

- Maintain a clean and safe environment.

- Communicate effectively with participants, families, and team members.

Experience and Skills:

- Possess good communication and teamwork skills.

- Have a passion for special education and community service.

- Can commit to volunteering for a certain number of hours each week (specific times can be negotiated).

- Previous experience is preferred, but we also welcome enthusiastic volunteers without experience.

- Ability to perform basic physical tasks, such as lifting and transferring.
