Role: Technical Support Volunteer

Event: UN Summit of the Future Virtual Side Event (September 15-25, 2024)

Organization: Women and Youth Advancement Inc. (WOYA)

About Us:

WOYA is dedicated to empowering marginalized communities through impactful programs and events. As we prepare for the UN Summit of the Future, we’re seeking a skilled volunteer to help ensure our virtual event runs smoothly and successfully.

What We Need:

We’re looking for a volunteer with experience in the following areas:

• Technical Management: Proficiency with YouTube Live, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams to manage live streaming, breakout rooms, and interactive sessions.
• Digital Marketing: Experience with Google Ads to promote the event and maximize visibility.
• Design and Graphics: Skills in Canva and graphic design to create visually appealing materials for the event.
• Virtual Event Experience: Previous experience in managing or supporting virtual events is highly desirable.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in setting up and managing YouTube Live, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams for the event.
• Create and implement Google Ads campaigns to drive engagement.
• Design and develop graphics and promotional materials using Canva.
• Ensure all technical aspects of the virtual event run smoothly.
