Director of Development for the Arts (Underserved Children)

Are you passionate about expanding access to the arts and youth development? Join us at Creative Emajinations as we drive forward our vision with a $1 million capital campaign dedicated to supporting arts education, mentorship, and professional development for underserved youth.

In this role, you’ll work alongside our Executive Director and Board of Directors to cultivate donor relationships, lead major fundraising efforts, and help us bring critical resources to Kansas City’s young creatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a dynamic fundraising strategy to meet our campaign goals
• Collaborate with the Executive Director and Board to identify, engage, and cultivate donor prospects
• Coordinate events and outreach initiatives to inspire community support
• Manage and track campaign progress, donor engagement, and reporting
• Build lasting relationships with stakeholders passionate about youth arts access and empowerment

Qualifications:

• Experience in fundraising, development, or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for the arts, education, and community development
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and network effectively
