Direct Care Volunteers are an important position with Gentiva Hospice. The role of a volunteer is to visit the patients, and/or family caregiver. They provide companionship to them when they need it the most. They are a caring, friendly face for chatting, reading, watching tv, playing games, listening to music, and sharing stories.
