Position Overview:
We are on the lookout for passionate English teacher volunteers eager to embark on this rewarding journey for a minimum of 3 to 6 months!
Imagine teaching in the lively Pavão-Pavãozinho & Cantagalo favelas, nestled between the stunning shores of Copacabana and Ipanema. You’ll lead Conversational English classes for enthusiastic first graders up to second year High School students and run exciting extracurricular sessions for high school students. With a minimum of 5 to 16 hours of teaching each week, you will be the catalyst for change!
In this role, you’ll receive essential trauma-informed lesson content, training in Positive Discipline, and constructive feedback to enhance your teaching skills. Join a motivated team of volunteers and benefit from the mentorship of our inspiring founder!

The nearest metro station: General Osorio - take exit D - to Rua Sa Ferreira and then it takes about 10 min to walk to EduMais.
