You already know about the many
health benefits of reading; it can reduce stress, decrease depression and stave
off Alzheimer’s disease. At Heartland Hospice, we’re in need of volunteers to
gift our patients with those very same benefits, often creating an environment
of much - needed calmness that comes with reading. Volunteers have the option
to either read in person or over the phone. Your choice!
If you’re available to give the gift
of reading to a hospice patient, then please reach out to our Volunteer
Coordinator for more information.
