    Calling Bike (bicycle) Enthusiasts & Repair Volunteers for Local Youth Program! Rebuilding Bike Access for Youth: Join Our Team!

    Hi there! My name is Denise and I am the ED of Cibus Mission and we are launching a Youth bike Repair Program in Hagerstown, The Washington County Bike Club disbanded some time ago (so I've been told) and not being an avid cyclist myself (just a person who enjoys riding a bike from time to time and love the freedom and independence it gives youths!) I am having a hard time finding like minded individuals and people who can volunteer once a week when the program begins! Also if we could do a couple of zoom meetings prior to the start to discuss what items are most needed!

    I did make a list on Walmart Registry here: Youth Bike Repair Program | Walmart.com

    But I'm guessing I'm missing a few things for 15 youths ages 8-18, So I would like some help on making the list more accurate and seeing where can I go to find more resources. I would love to have a Bike Repair Committee and have a group of you helping with this new program! But if that is too much to ask for, whatever time you can volunteer is very much appreciated and needed!
