We're looking for dedicated volunteers to assist with horse therapy sessions for individuals with disabilities and help with horse care. Join us in making a meaningful impact!

Volunteer Requirements:

. Must be at least 16 years old to work around the horses.

. Must be at least 17 years old to assist both horses and riders.

. Able to commit to a consistent shift for a minimum of three

months.

. Complete a Volunteer Authorization and Release Form (available on

our website www.thesaddlelightcenter.com and email to volcoor@sbgglobal.net

. Attend a mandatory training session prior to starting.

. The Volunteer duties will require some strength and endurance

Volunteer Shifts Available:

Monday-Friday: 3 PM-6 PM and 6 PM-9 PM

Saturday: 8 AM-12 noon and 5 PM-7 PM

Sunday: 7:30 AM-10 AM and 5:00 PM-7:00 PM

Volunteer Duties

. Moving horses to and from paddocks

. Cleaning stalls and barn areas

. Grooming and feeding horses

. Assisting as a side walker or horse handler and observation of Hippotherapy and Therapeutic Riding

No previous experience with horses is required as all necessary training

is provided.
