Pre-Med Program Abroad

The Pre-Med Program by Young Surgeons Travel offers aspiring medical students hands-on experience in Kenya’s hospitals and clinics. Participants shadow doctors, assist with basic patient care, and engage in community health outreach. The program provides exposure to tropical diseases, emergency medicine, and resource-limited healthcare settings. Volunteers participate in medical workshops, clinical observations, and mentorship sessions with experienced professionals. Cultural immersion activities, including village visits and safaris, enhance the experience. Programs range from 2 weeks to 6 months, with accommodation, meals, and 24/7 support included, preparing students for medical careers.
