Board Member (Volunteer)

We are currently seeking volunteer Board Members to join our team and support our mission.

Wellth Living is a 501c3 social enterprise designed to create conscious leaders through individual healing which creates new ways of living through experiential learning.

Our mission is transforming how we collectively live our lives, by facilitating opportunities to become heart-centered leaders. Whether that is in your home and family, business or community, and beyond.

Role Description

Our Board Members are the fiduciaries who steer the organization towards a sustainable future by adopting sound, ethical, and legal governance and financial management policies, as well as by making sure the nonprofit has adequate resources to advance its mission.

By actively participating in our Board, you’ll help direct us along the path ahead. As a team, our Board focuses on the following:

• Support the organization and its mission by contributing to fundraising and making an annual personal contribution.
• Contribute to the conversation during our virtual meetings (we hold a 60-minute conference call every month)
• Share networks and open doors for the organization, inviting others to contribute.
• Build relationships with donors and supporters and advocate on Wellth Living’s behalf.
• Representing Wellth Living to stakeholders; acting as an ambassador for the organization.

Commitments

• Minimum of 5 hours per month
• Participate in regular Board and Committee meetings each month
• Regularly complete specific measurable goals related to organizational objectives
• Give and/or Get Policy: donate and/or fundraise at least $5,000 each fiscal year ($500 at onboarding)
• Serve a one-year term and have the opportunity to extend term

Desired Skills and Experience

We are looking for mission-aligned individuals with strong collaboration, communication, implementation, and strategic skills, and expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Fundraising: Ability to raise funds each month for the organization
• Marketing: Online Marketing, Social Impact Marketing, C2B and B2B
• Wealth Management: Planned Giving, Corporate Giving Programs, Donor Advised Funds, Impact Giving, Family Office
• Non-profit Management
• Legal: Knowledge of non-profits preferred
• Accounting: Knowledge of non-profits preferred
• A passion for personal and professional development
• A passion for social impact efforts
• This is a VOLUNTEER Board Member position.
