Event Volunteer: The Daring Gala - April 26, 2025

Emceed by Denver 7 Morning Anchor Anusha Roy, The Daring Gala is Daring Girls’ premier annual event, attracting philanthropists throughout the Denver metropolitan area and capturing the attention of our global community. The event will take place in person on April 26, 2025, in Denver at the Posner Center for International Development. The event will feature an inspiring evening showcasing programmatic impact, as well as food, drink, silent and live auction items, and the opportunity to help support our mentorship programs that equip secondary school girls in Africa with the knowledge and tools to reach their full potential.

We're looking for volunteers to help with:

Event Setup (2:30-5:00 PM) = move furniture, tables for the event; help decorate the room and set up the silent auction.

Photographer (5-9:30 PM) = use your camera or phone to capture images and video from this event for public viewing on Daring Girls' channels.

Tech/AV Support (5-9:30 PM) = advance event videos and presentations via our connected laptop.

Event Support Shift 1 (5:30-8:00 PM) = staff event check-in table, staff the silent auction rooms to support bidders, general event support as needed.

Event Support Shift 2 (7:30-10:00 pm) = support event check-out, act as a runner to help guests claim winning silent auction bids, help with event clean-up and general event support as needed.

Volunteers are thanked with a free ticket to attend and enjoy The Daring Girls Gala when not working their volunteer shift.
