Grant Writers & Research Volunteers for Pregnancy/Infant Loss & Bereavement NPO (Remote U.S.)

Sacred Chrysalis Perinatal Loss & Bereavement Services is a newly formed 501(c)(3) seeking Volunteer Grant Writers & Researchers to help secure funding for our programs and operations. Use your writing skills to craft compelling grant proposals that support our mission of providing compassionate, holistic, comprehensive, trauma-informed support, education, resources, and advocacy for underserved and underrepresented mothers, families, and communities experiencing pregnancy loss, stillbirth, or infant death and the profound grief that follows.

Responsibilities:

• Research grant opportunities that align with our mission and services.
• Write and submit grant proposals, following guidelines and deadlines.
• Work with our team to gather necessary information and documentation, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and deadlines.
• Help manage and track grant applications, records, communications, and outcomes with funding organizations.

Qualifications:

• Strong verbal, written, and research skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience in grant writing or strong willingness to learn.
• Understanding of nonprofit funding sources, grant requirements, and grant cycle (prospecting, proposal development, post-award reporting).
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Time Commitment

• Flexible schedule
• Minimum commitment of 6 months
