York Region Educational Services (YRES) is a not-for-profit organization that provides individuals in the vicinity of the York Region with free and affordable educational resources in a safe and supportive environment that inspires, motivates, and helps set the foundation for personal growth.

About this opportunity:

As a virtual volunteer, your main responsibilities will consist of designing materials for our camp programs, such as crosswords and colouring pages, and data collection to support our community and business outreach initiatives.

Position details and eligibility:

• At least 12 years of age at the start of your first shift.
• Have reliable internet and access to a computer or laptop at home or wherever you will be conducting volunteer work at.
• Reside in Canada for the duration of your volunteer commitment.

Key responsibilities are as follows:

• Designing materials for elementary-school aged campers such as colouring pages, crossword puzzles, sudoku puzzles, and word search puzzles.
• Gathering and inputting data on spreadsheets, such as business contacts and social media handles.
