Marketing Team Lead

We’re looking for a Volunteer Marketing Team Lead who will oversee the planning, development, and implementation of the organization’s marketing strategies, communications, and public relations activities.

This position requires a creative, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about the organization’s mission and skilled in leading a team of volunteers to increase awareness and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of volunteer marketers, including designers, content creators, social media managers, and public relations volunteers.
• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to raise awareness of the organization’s mission, programs, and events.
• Track key performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed for maximum impact.
• Oversee the creation of marketing content, including newsletters, blog posts, social media updates, press releases, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with program and fundraising teams to generate content that supports ongoing campaigns.
• Manage and enhance the organization’s online presence, including social media channels, website content, and email marketing.
• Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels and marketing materials.
• Work closely with the leadership team to align marketing efforts with organizational goals and fundraising initiatives.
• Foster a collaborative, positive, and creative environment within the team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in marketing, communications, or related fields (volunteer or professional).
• Leadership or team management experience.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and content creation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficiency with marketing tools, such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, social media management platforms, or email marketing software.
• Creative and innovative mindset, with an eye for design and branding.
• Passion for women’s empowerment and social justice.
