Volunteer/Ambassador Recruiter and Coordinator (Volunteer) [3-4 Needed]

Job Description: The DMV Music Alliance is looking for individuals to help recruit, onboard, and coordinate a team of volunteers.  You will work closely with the marketing team and executive director to maximize the impact of our Volunteer program.

Responsibilities:

• Recruit, onboard, and coordinate volunteers, providing them with the necessary information, tools, and resources.
• Foster a sense of community among volunteers, encouraging engagement, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing.
• Regularly communicate with volunteers to keep them informed about organizational updates, campaigns, and initiatives.
• Identify and recognize exceptional volunteers, celebrating their achievements and contributions, and help develop a perks and benefits program.
• Collaborate with the marketing and outreach teams to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and events to enhance the visibility and impact of the volunteer program.
• Track data related to the volunteer program.

Requirements:

• Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate a diverse group of volunteers.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to effectively convey the organization's message and values.
• Passion for the organization's mission and a genuine interest in building relationships with volunteers and stakeholders.
