Assignment Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and well-connected ProBono Volunteer Fundraiser to help secure critical funding for our operational and staffing costs. This short-term assignment is ideal for an individual with extensive relationships and experience with wealth, family offices, foundations, grantmaking organizations, and philanthropy funders dedicated to transformative social impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leverage existing relationships with potential funders to secure immediate operational funding.
• Develop and implement a short-term fundraising strategy to address urgent financial needs.
• Work closely with our team to understand our programs and articulate our funding needs effectively.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record in fundraising for social justice, equity, economic development, or related fields.
• Strong network within wealth, family offices, foundations, grantmaking organizations, and philanthropy funders.
• Deep understanding of the philanthropic landscape focused on transformative peace, equity, and climate work.
• Commitment to decolonization, supporting proximate leaders, and promoting wealth redistribution.
