Volunteers for free family programs at the Albany County Historical Association/Ten Broeck Mansion are a big part of helping us accomplish our mission. We provide 100% free family programs, and we need your help to make it happen!
Free family program volunteers will work with the Community Education Coordinator and other ACHA staff to set up for programs, welcome families, and assist families with hands on activities. This is a great position for volunteers who enjoy working with youth, enjoy hands on activities (including gardening and art), and love learning!
While we have some family programming all year round, most of our family programming takes place on Saturdays between May and October. Programs are typically held outdoors (rain or shine) with some exceptions. The position may require moving/assembling pop-up tents and tables.
