Symptone (pronounced SIMP-tuhm) is a pioneering nonprofit dedicated to revolutionizing the understanding and diagnosis of medical conditions on BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) skin tones. Through our impactful blog and educational initiatives, we empower individuals with crucial knowledge about their skin health and advocate for better education and awareness around dermatological conditions on BIPOC skin tones.

Role Description

This is a volunteer remote role for a Blog Writer at Symptone. The Blog Writer will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content related to dermatological conditions on BIPOC skin tones. Daily tasks include researching, writing blog posts, web content writing, and implementing marketing strategies to reach a wider audience.

• Writing and Blogger skills
• Experience in Research and Web Content Writing
• Marketing knowledge
• Passion for promoting diversity and representation in healthcare
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Background in dermatology or healthcare is a plus
