Veteran's Christmas Packages--- Yep, we're already getting ready

We are looking for volunteers or a group of volunteers to make Christmas packages/items for Veterans who are unable to be home with loved one for the Holidays. Heartland Hospice strives to serve veterans throughout the year to show our appreciation and support for their sacrifice. 

For Christmas, our goal is to deliver care packages/items to veteran patients who served their country through military service.

Care packages/items need to be delivered to our business office between before December 13 in order for it to be prepared for disbursement.  

Care packages can be made using small boxes or gift bags and suggested items are:

• Compression socks
• Electric shavers
• Shaving cream/aftershave
• 3 in 1 (shampoo, body wash/face wash)
• salty snacks
• hard candy or chocolate
• Bottled water
• Word searches, crossword puzzles, magazines, playing cards
• Patriotic masks, lanyards, bandanas, pens, etc.
• Write letters
