Volunteer Website Developer for Frontline Medics (Nonprofit helping Ukraine)

Frontline Medics, a non-profit organization providing vital medical aid to Ukrainians affected by the war, is seeking a passionate volunteer Web Developer to help streamline our volunteer application process.

About the Project:

In this critical project, you will play a key part in improving our volunteer recruitment efforts. You will be responsible for converting our existing volunteer application form, currently housed in Google Forms, into a user-friendly online application directly on the Frontline Medics website. Additionally, you will configure the application to automatically populate a designated Excel spreadsheet stored on Microsoft Teams, allowing for efficient applicant data management.

Your Skills:

• Proven experience with web development languages like HTML, CSS, and potentially Javascript (preferred).
• Familiarity with integrating online forms into websites (e.g., using plugins or custom coding).
• Experience working with data transfer between web applications and spreadsheets (e.g., web scraping, APIs).
• Strong understanding of website user experience (UX) principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• A passion for volunteering and supporting a worthy cause.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress would be a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and Excel data management would be beneficial.
