Who We Are

LifeSmart Education is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that enhances the availability of nontraditional educational classes and resources for underserved youth and communities. We help those who need unwavering, positive life management skills. Youth aren't born knowing the life skills that we wish they did; they must be taught and molded into productive members of society. At LifeSmart Education, we teach youth how to be socially and emotionally successful, and enable them to achieve their highest potential as law-abiding global citizens.

It is an excellent chance for someone to gain experience tutoring and contribute to achieving the mission of a small nonprofit. You will also be trained virtually on the best tutoring practices. Role Description

We’re looking for a virtual tutor to work with an 8th-grade student in math, science, and algebra. We need approximately two to five hours of tutoring per week across these subjects. All sessions will take place virtually.

Requirements

• High school graduate or higher education level (preferred)
• High school students (Junior/Senior) with a GPA of 3.5 or higher
• Works well with students and is reliable, friendly, and patient
• Computer literate (Must be able to navigate software program)
• Tutor 2-5 hour per week
• Minimum 6 months commitment
