Youth Ambassador

The GLO Ambassadors Program is comprised of dedicated, and diverse youth committed to outreach. Our mission is to give youth a voice in their community and recognize the needs of all members of a given community. As an ambassador, you will have the opportunity to work with architects, engineers, artists, government officials, and more to make a difference in your community.

For one of our projects, we are working with Adams County to preserve and enhance the natural qualities of a 17 mile stretch of the South Platte River, spanning from Commerce City to Brighton. We will work to provide new recreational opportunities to the public, forge partnerships to reclaim gravel mining areas, and protect the unique features of the land with the intent to connect the local community to the natural environment.

Another project we are working on, also based in Adams County, is an arena project that takes place near Riverdale Regional Park. As opposed to the river project, the arena is focused more on infrastructure than the natural environment. Our outreach will be directed to Adams County residents with the intent to provide the community with a space to enjoy.

We are recruiting ambassadors in the area of the projects, currently Adams County. Our ambassadors should be around 11-18 years old, with a passion to serve their community. Our ambassador teams usually consist of 8-10 ambassadors, and 2-3 consultants that help guide the projects.
