Project Homeless Connect will hold our 83rd Community Day of Service at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on Wednesday, December 4th. Our legacy would not be possible without our volunteers. We would love for you to join us in making this Day of Service possible!
For context, our Community Day of Service events have helped hundreds of participants access resources under one roof from over 40+ providers: including DMV, employment and public benefits assistance, dental and vision care, legal aid, veteran services, and expert medical attention.
In the face of such a complex issue as homelessness, the day is an inspiring look at what we can accomplish as a mobilized community of care. It is also a wonderfully impactful team-building opportunity. All of this is made possible by more than 400+ volunteers, with Morning (8:30 am to 12:30 pm), Afternoon (11:30 am to 3:30 pm), and All-Day (8:30 am to 3:30 pm) shifts available.
Standard placements include getting to know participants one-on-one as you help them navigate the space as a Participant Escort/Buddy, Participant Check-In, Translator, Bag checker, and more. We take pride in ensuring that every role is meaningful and provide volunteer support, not to mention a meal at the end of your shift and a PHC Volunteer T-Shirt for first-time volunteers.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at volunteer@projecthomelessconnect.org. PHC looks forward to working with you. Click on the links below to register:
