Overview: We are seeking a creative and innovative Social Media Content Creator Volunteer to implement an engaging social media strategy for our organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a not-for-profit embedded in social innovation as we enter growth mode!
Responsibilities:
- Implement comprehensive digital strategies aligned with our mission and target audience.
- Post on our social media platforms, including LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
- Create engaging and relevant content that resonates with our audience.
- Engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries.
- Support the team with various associated administrative tasks.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously innovate and improve our digital presence.
Requirements:
- Knowledge: Understanding of social problems and their implications for service-users, and issues involved in volunteering with vulnerable people.
Experience:
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Pinterest.
- Hands-on experience using social media to build brand awareness (Essential).
- Experience in graphic design, photo editing, and publishing (Desirable).
Skills:
- Ability to identify target audiences’ preferences and produce tailored content.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate new ideas, persuade stakeholders, and empower people to take action.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate novel and useful ideas.
- Problem-solving skills, including proficiency in identifying problems, analyzing them, and finding effective solutions.
- Excellent ICT skills, including proficiency with MS Office, Teams, Photoshop, Canva and Zoom.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and collaborate with others to develop and implement innovative ideas.
