Would you like to make a difference in the life of a child? A family? a school? YMCA Reads! might be the perfect place for you! YMCA Reads! works with k-4th grade students, who are struggling to read. YMCA Reads is a free program that runs Monday through Thursday at 2 locations in Lakeland. One location provides an after-school reading program (Winston Academy), while the other location provides a during-school reading program (Griffin elementary). Help us help our children build reading skills and self confidence! Flexible hours, schedules, and volunteer activities.
