Social Media Experts Needed at the Center for Food as Medicine

About Us:

At the Center for Food as Medicine, we're dedicated to revolutionizing healthcare by leveraging the therapeutic potential of food. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers at all experience levels to help us amplify our message on social media and engage with our community. Our goal is to spread the word about how food can impact and treat disease, dispel myths, and combat pseudoscience.

Volunteer Roles:

1. Content Creation:

• Develop engaging posts for our social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).
• Create graphics, infographics, and short videos to convey our mission and projects.
• Write, edit, and create compelling content that resonates with our audience.

1. Video Editing:

• Edit videos for social media to highlight key messages and stories.
• Create short, impactful videos for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels.

1. Community Management:

• Interact with our followers by responding to comments and messages.
• Foster a positive and informative online community.

1. Campaign Development and Assistance:

• Support and help develop social media campaigns and initiatives.
• Assist in tracking analytics and reporting on the effectiveness of social media efforts.
• Contribute ideas for new campaigns to increase reach and engagement.

1. Strategy Development:

• Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to increase our reach and engagement.
• Help identify key metrics and analyze performance to refine strategies.

Qualifications:

• Strong interest in social media, food, nutrition, and health equity.
• Experience with major social media platforms, including TikTok.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Creative mindset and ability to develop engaging content.
• Experience with video editing for social media.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience with social media analytics tools is a plus.
