Event Team Recruiter and Coordinator (Volunteer) [2-3]

The DMV Music Alliance needs a team to recruit, onboard, and manage a team of enthusiastic volunteers for event marketing and industry services. Engage the community through dynamic street team activities and impactful tabling events!

What You’ll Do:

• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to promote our organization in the community.
• Build a strong, engaged volunteer community that thrives on collaboration.
• Plan and execute tabling events at various locations such as concerts, community gatherings, and schools.
• Develop schedules and assignments for event team activities to ensure effective coverage.
• Coordinate with internal teams and partners to ensure materials and resources are ready for events.
• Represent the organization positively, communicating our values and initiatives to diverse audiences.
• Identify and explore opportunities for collaborations with community organizations and influencers.
• Track street team and tabling activities, analyze its impact, and offer insights and recommendations.
• Lead regular meetings with the street team to provide updates and address any concerns.

What You Bring:

• Passion for music, for our mission, and a strong interest in community outreach.
• Experience in community engagement or street team coordination is a plus.
• Must be based in the DMV area and have reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with various groups.
• Ability to inspire and motivate volunteers, fostering teamwork and dedication.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple events and activities.
