About this role:
AHA Initiative is offering a passionate and experiential opportunity to craft and implement a media/branding strategy for a global health nonprofit startup pioneering the first network of free primary health care clinics that are community-focused and community-led across Africa.
This brand strategist role provides an opportunity to:
- Lead a global team to develop an engaging social media / digital brand to drive impact and growth
- Implement advocacy strategies for primary healthcare-focused illnesses like malaria
- Apply learning from this program to real-life issues and foster a sense of ownership for impact
- Work with a growing organization doing live on ground work on a crucial global health issue reaching thousands of patients monthly
Commitment: ~5-7hrs/week
Location: Fully remote

About Ameliorating Health in Africa Initiative:
A global health organization working to ensure that every low-income community in Africa has access to primary health care. Founded in 2022, the AHA Initiative's primary healthcare clinics have treated over 8,000 patients within Nigeria and are expanding exponentially. By providing access to primary health care on a community level, AHA Initiative aims to reduce highly preventable deaths like malaria.
