Position Overview:
The Fundraising Coordinator will play a key role in supporting our fundraising efforts by assisting with event planning, donor engagement, and campaign management. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising and development while contributing to meaningful projects that support our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Support:
- Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events, including logistics, coordination with vendors, and day-of support.
- Help create promotional materials and manage event registration processes.
- Conduct post-event follow-up, including surveys and thank-you communications.
Donor Engagement:
- Support efforts to engage and retain donors through targeted communications and personalized outreach.
- Help manage and update donor databases, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.
- Assist in drafting donor communications, including thank-you letters and impact reports.
Campaign Management:
- Aid in the development and implementation of fundraising campaigns and appeals.
- Conduct research on potential donors and funding opportunities.
- Track and report on campaign progress, including analyzing data and preparing reports.
Administrative Tasks:
- Provide general administrative support to the development team as needed.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining fundraising files and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with database management.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude with a passion for the nonprofit sector.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with fundraising or event planning is a plus.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
