The Armed Services Arts Partnership (ASAP) fosters creative communities for veterans, service members, military family members, and caregivers to thrive through the arts. We offer free, evidence-based arts classes that improve more than 1,000 veterans’ well-being every year. Our classes range across a variety of art forms, including stand-up comedy, storytelling, improv, creative writing, acting, drawing, and more. We are located in Washington, DC, Hampton Roads, VA, Indianapolis, and San Diego, as well as offer programs online.
ASAP has reached 4,000 unique veterans over eight years, and alumni have performed for an estimated 100,000+ audience members, including shows at the Warner Theater, Gotham Comedy Club and at The White House under President Obama and President Biden. We have been featured by CNN, ABC, NBC, PBS, NPR, The Washington Post, POLITICO, and Forbes.
