    Acerca de

Friends of Raystown Lake (FRL) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that works to promote environmental education, resource protection and enhancement, and recreational improvement in the Raystown Lake Region. Located near Hesston, PA Raystown Lake is a popular outdoor recreation area. FRL owns and maintains 32 miles of mountain biking trails called the Allegrippis Trail System that is one of the most popular mountain biking trail systems in the country. We also maintain a remote campground that hosts Scout Troops, church groups, and private organizations for camping and outdoor recreational activities. We also partner with Juniata College and the Army Corps of Engineers to train and otherwise support two environmental education interns that present environmental programs at campgrounds in the Raystown Lake area. Several other environmental projects we support are constructing fish habitat structures, sponsoring a lake cleanup day, and maintaining the navigation lights on Raystown Lake
