Girls Education International

The mission of Girls Education International is to expand and support educational opportunities for underserved women and girls in remote and developing regions of the world.

Girls Education International partners with community-led organizations and local changemakers to scale impact. We understand that the barriers that prevent girls from succeeding in their education are systemic and multifaceted and therefore, demand a collective commitment across geographies and sectors to energize long-term change. Our partners are community-based organizations with interventions that are scalable, sustainable, and demonstrate impact. Our role is to facilitate and bridge-build by linking communities with resources, networks, and the support needed to achieve their goals. We collaboratively address challenges to education with organizations by providing flexible funding, investing in capacity bridging, and mobilizing allies to grow social capital and accelerate change.
