    Acerca de

Our congregation has roughly 180 active participants including over 60 children and youth, with a regular Sunday morning attendance of 95 including 15 to 30 children each week.

At PMC the quality of our relationships is our most important and defining character. We have built up a culture of informal, yet deep fellowship. People really care for and about one another and seek ways to help each other - to grow, to thrive, to make it through transitions and struggles. Our worship, spritual work, and our activism and service all emerge from these relationships and form us into a special community of mutual aid, mutual celebration, and mutual fun! In the past number of years, the number of families with children coming to PMC has increased dramatically, plus there was a baby boom in the congregation in the late twenty-teens. All told there are over 65 kids at PMC at this point and hiring a children and youth minister is as much a necessity as it is an opportunity.

    Our Welcoming Statement

At Pittsburgh Mennonite Church, we recognize the sacred worth and dignity of all people and celebrate the image of God manifested in the mosaic of our community. We are enriched by diversity in race, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, ability, physical and mental health, education, economic standing, and marital status. These beautiful manifestations of difference stand as a call to be in relationship with each other, never an excuse to limit membership or interrupt fellowship in church. God has welcomed us all.
