Foundation For Youth Empowerment - FOYE

Foundation for Youth Empowerment (FOYE) was registered in 2016 as a Community-Based Organization (CBO) under Registration No. MMC/CBS/6020 in Uganda. Headquartered at Plot 358, Bananuka Drive, Mbarara City. FOYE empowers disadvantaged children and youth through education and skills training. Through hands-on training in digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and other essential vocational skills, we equip young people with the tools they need to build sustainable livelihoods. Our goal is to foster entrepreneurship, create employment opportunities, and break the cycle of poverty.

Value Proposition

FOYE provides comprehensive education and skill development programs tailored to the needs of disadvantaged youth, enabling them to improve their employability and entrepreneurial potential. Activities of FOYE

FOYE primarily targets disadvantaged youth living in the western districts of Ankole Sub-region, including those facing socio-economic challenges, lack of access to education and employment opportunities, and other forms of marginalization or exclusion.

Program and Activities

Talent Promotion

FOYE organizes talent shows, competitions, and workshops to identify, showcase, and support the talents of young people in areas such as music, dance, drama, sports, arts, and entrepreneurship.

Skills Development

FOYE offers training programs, vocational courses, and workshops to equip youth with practical skills and knowledge in various fields, including agriculture, ICT, tailoring/knitting, carpentry, business management, and leadership.

Mentorship and Counselling

FOYE provides mentorship, guidance, and counselling services to help youth set goals, overcome challenges, and make informed decisions about their education, career, and personal development.
