Girls on the Run Greater Boston is an independent 501c3 that is part of of the national non-profit network of Girls on the Run councils. Our mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident, using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running. Our 150+ volunteer coaches mentor approximately 1,000 young girls (grades 3 through 8) in our twice-weekly after-school program that combines training for a 5K running event with self-confidence enhancing lessons.
