Better Angels

Los Angeles is facing an epidemic of homelessness. Despite billions of dollars approved by taxpayers to address the crisis over the last several years, the situation has further deteriorated. Government has proven incapable of addressing the epidemic. Existing nonprofits, despite best intentions, have been too constrained to have the broad impact necessary to address the issue at scale. We believe that the time has come to rally the residents of LA to tackle homelessness head on. Better Angels will take a bold, holistic approach to confront the many aspects of this huge, complex, and seemingly intractable problem with particular focus on the following pillars: Prevention, Sanitation, Services, Shelter and Housing
