Liberty Ecosystem

Liberty Ecosystem is a community-centered socioeconomic justice movement based in South Central Los Angeles. Building on the anti-gentrification efforts of organizations such as Hyde Park Organizational Partnership Empowerment, Save Leimert Neighborhood Coalition, and Crenshaw Subway Coalition, Liberty’s mission is to help liberate and heal marginalized people though the the collective rebuild and reconstruction of a local, community-driven, people-centered, environmentally-sustainable economy. Liberty Ecosystem’s entities strive to accomplish this by engaging in organizing work that preserves the cultural history of South Central while taking revolutionary steps to ensure marginalized people within the South Central and beyond experience land justice.
