    The Love Pit is a 501c3 foster-based dog rescue on a mission to reduce the homeless pit bull population in shelters and on the streets.

    We focus on rescuing pit bulls and bully breeds from Texas shelters and giving them a second chance through rehabilitation, training, education and advocacy. We strive to educate the public about dogs that fall victim to breed-specific legislation, discrimination and cruelty, and we promote responsible pet ownership through spay/neuter initiatives, vaccinations, training resources and more.

    We believe in the potential of every dog and we’re at peace with having dog hair on everything. Learn more about our mission at our website or catch us at one of our events around DFW.
