    The Love Pit is a 501c3 foster-based dog rescue on a mission to reduce the homeless pit bull population in shelters and on the streets.

    We focus on rescuing pit bulls and bully breeds from Texas shelters and giving them a second chance through rehabilitation, training, education and advocacy. We strive to educate the public about dogs that fall victim to breed-specific legislation, discrimination and cruelty, and we promote responsible pet ownership through spay/neuter initiatives, vaccinations, training resources and more.
