    About Reproductive Freedom for All (Formerly NARAL Pro-Choice America)

    For more than 55 years, Reproductive Freedom for All and its chapters have fought to protect and expand reproductive freedom —including access to abortion and contraception — for everybody. We are powered by our more than 4 million members from every state and congressional district in the country, representing the 8 in 10 Americans who believe every person should have the freedom to make the best decision for themselves about if, when, and how to raise a family.

    Reproductive Freedom for All centers diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice in our organization and our work. Continuously learning from our history, we hold ourselves accountable to achieve reproductive freedom with equitable access for everybody. As the oldest and largest national membership organization primarily focused on advocating for abortion access, we organize and mobilize, galvanizing millions of people to take action to defend reproductive freedom, and shining a spotlight of accountability on bad actors who work to impose their ideological agenda on others. We also work to elect champions for reproductive freedom and advance state and federal legislation to safeguard it. For more information on Reproductive Freedom for All, please visit our website.

    Job Details

    Compensation: $18.67/hour

    Start Date: June 2, 2025

    End Date: August 8, 2025

    Location: This position will be fully remote

    Hours: Part-time; 30 hours per week, with flexible hours as needed

    In this internship, you will:

    • Assist with recreating forms, user profiles, and workflows in the new database system;
    • Assist with deduping records and cleaning data in the new database;
    • Document changes between the two databases and help create a detailed handbook for internal use;
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure successful data mapping;
    • Provide support and training on new database features for staff as needed.

    Final Deliverable:

    • The intern will have an opportunity to present the Migration Handbook as a final deliverable. The Migration Handbook will document the transition between the two databases and map each datapoint from the old database to the new. It is a vital project, as it allows us to create a touchpoint for staff, a paper trail for future projects, and will allow the intern to develop the all-important skill of documentation.

    In this internship, you will learn:

    • Data cleaning and reconciliation;
    • Navigating complex databases and data warehouse;
    • Querying using SQL;
    • Collaboration across departments with converging needs;
    • Sprint planning;
    • Developing NGP VAN skills — the most commonly-used software on the left!

    We're looking for someone who:

    • Has some experience working in NGP VAN products or using MiniVAN;
    • Has excellent written communication skills;
    • Has the ability to work independently across teams;
    • Has strong Excel/Google Sheets experience.
