Restore Native Plants is a non-profit organization committed to revitalizing ecosystems by reintroducing native plant species and conserving the natural landscapes of the Ramapo Mountain State Forest. Spanning 4,200 acres across Bergen and Passaic Counties, this forest serves as a vital habitat for biodiversity and environmental restoration. Led by an environmentalist entrepreneur, the organization combines innovative approaches with a focus on ecological preservation. Interns are offered hands-on experience in environmental stewardship, an opportunity to develop valuable skills, and the chance to contribute to impactful, long-term conservation efforts.

After completing our internship, candidates can apply again for a second year focusing on specializing in one of the four designated previously mentioned roles.
After completing this second year, candidates may be offered full-time employment opportunities or assistance and mentoring to procure employment with one of several aligned environmental organizations.
