Volunteer Services Intern

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of those in need? City Relief is offering a dynamic and immersive Summer Internship Program, providing hands-on experience in serving people experiencing homelessness in the NY/NJ area.

The Summer Volunteer Services Intern will play a key role in strengthening City Relief’s outreach efforts by supporting volunteer coordination, recruitment, and hospitality during our busiest season. This role focuses on utilizing our volunteer management platform (VOMO) to ensure outreach days are fully staffed and volunteers are well-supported. Tasks include updating volunteer rosters, tracking attendance and no-shows, and recruiting volunteers to fill open shifts.

The intern will also help host and care for volunteers at our Clifton base by checking in guests, setting up hospitality materials, and creating a warm, welcoming environment that reflects City Relief’s heart for connection and community.
