Position Summary
You will collaborate with and report to the Whole Family Program Coordinator and work with the remote Whole Family Program team, including one local colleague, to support innovative programs for families living in subsidized housing. The ideal candidate is passionate about community building, empowering families, and fostering equitable access to resources and opportunities. They excel in supporting workshops and community events, engaging with families, and contributing to the logistics and outreach efforts of the program. They are proactive, empathetic, and committed to supporting families in achieving long-term stability and success.
This role involves assisting with workshops and community gatherings to connect families with essential resources, supporting day-to-day programming operations, and helping strengthen local community connections. You will be a creative and critical thinker, comfortable working in a dynamic environment where innovation and adaptability are key. The work may be fast-paced at times as we strive to create impactful opportunities and respond in real time to the needs of families in our program.
This is a hybrid position that includes both virtual and in-person programming. While the role is primarily remote, this role requires regular in-person engagement as needed to support families and facilitate programming. There may be non-traditional hours during evenings and weekends to accommodate scholars' schedules, RTB’s monthly workshops, and special events. We offer some flexibility in scheduling to offset these non-traditional work hours.
