    Job Title: Program Associate

    Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000

    Reports to: President

    Location: Remote (Anywhere)

    Travel: Occasional travel may be required (estimated once a quarter)

    Job Summary:

    The Program Associate will play a crucial role in supporting the Director of Programming and the EDS team in delivering a variety of program offerings. This position involves planning, coordinating, and executing online events, courses, and in-person gatherings, ensuring seamless operations and a high-quality experience for participants. Responsibilities include scheduling and coordinating with featured guests and instructors, managing participant communications, handling Zoom technology for events, supporting program marketing efforts, and developing systems for program feedback and evaluation. Building and maintaining relationships with program partners is also a key aspect of the role. This is a full-time remote position.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Event Planning & Coordination: Support the logistics of EDS events by scheduling, coordinating with guest speakers and instructors, and ensuring all necessary materials are in place.
    • Communication: Oversee regular communication with program participants, providing clear, timely updates and responding to inquiries.
    • Technology Management: Manage Zoom events and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure smooth virtual programming.
    • Marketing Support: Assist in the promotion of programs through outreach and social media coordination.
    • Feedback & Evaluation Systems: Develop and implement systems for gathering participant feedback and evaluating program success.
    • Partnership Management: Establish and maintain relationships with current and potential program partners.

    Essential Qualifications:

    • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to connect effectively with diverse audiences.
    • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Zoom, Google Workspace, and related software for virtual events and project management.
    • Organizational Skills: Demonstrated organizational and project management abilities, with an exceptional eye for detail.
    • Commitment to Social Justice: A demonstrated commitment to social justice principles and equity.

    Required Experience & Education:

    • Experience: Minimum of two years directing or coordinating programs within the education, non-profit, or religious sectors.
    • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; graduate work in religion or theology is preferred.
